Truly, a Full Wave Failure, this one will be turned over and started again On my paper, I poured down a mixture of
gesso and acrylic gel medium ("Gesso Juice" as Kathleen Conover calls it). Using the end of a brush and several adhesive spreaders,
I randomly drew and scraped...then let it dry. I ended with a huge mess after applying several attempts of paint pours. Then, after
feeling defeated, my own intuitive juices began to kick in, saying: 'Let go, it's no big deal.' So I began to remove paint with an
elephant ear sponge. and two days later, I saw the beginning of two, beady eyes gazing at me. It WAS a direction. One old adage
came to mind, this one from Ben Franklin, who said: "I didn't fail. I just tried something a thousand times, and it hasn't worked yet!"
I love that guy.
