The most striking thing about this painting is the graceful use of mixed mediums. there are so many contrasting textures which give the painting so many things to look at and think about. Description
This combo of watercolor and white gesso has had some of its
components used in at least 2 other deviations. I felt it might be worth
while to post the original piece. It certainly works its ominous premonitions
to the hilt, in the hope we never see skies like this...ever. Who knows,
maybe they already have in Oklahoma!

Watercolor and gesso on 18x24" sheet of Strathmore w/c paper/
