Pavo Real

I had some difficulty using a Spanish tilde on the full title of this watercolor: El Señor Pavo Real...Mr. Peacock.
As usual, I created a veritable mess with paint, and instinctively HAD to fix it. One thing I tell watercolorists who ask me: "Hey, I'm
pouring paint, and it's a mess! WHAT DO I DO NEXT?" The first thing I tell them is ONE, you can edit the paint, especially non-stainers
like yellows and reds can be wiped clean off the paper. Blues are a lot harder, most of them. and B: Try to bring your piece to a
relative close ~ like give it CLOSURE, without feeling it a failure. And most important: ALLOW FAILURE. Failure is a guiding light.
