Traditional Art / Paintings / Landscapes & Scenery

For those familiar with the city of Duluth, Minnesota, this
would be quite recognizable as a scenic. The large ocean
freighter is passing through the canal which leads from the
end of Lake Superior into the St. Louis Bay. The bridge that
raises and lowers for each ship was operated by my grandfather
(paternal) - a fellow I never met - for about 36 years. The
ship is severely cropped, but it's a big one, the men on the
decks from far-away places...with strange-sounding names.

Dear Greenex, sorry I've taken soooo long to thank you for
your comments. I'm afraid the jpeg is a bit too saturated
in color; the original hangs in our front entrance and
is not quite so alive with color (which is ok with me).
I've had offers to sell it, but my wife won't let me.

The coloros looks ok too me but you know,we can't talk about tastes,are different with everyone of us and it's the best.
