Located far up on the North Shore of Lake Superior,
Grand Marais is a hub of Summer tourism activity ~ boat
excursions to Isle Royale, small plane trips around the
heavily-wooded northern pine forest, forays into the
Boundary Waters and much more. When it's 97ºF in The
Twin Cities, it's 65º in Grand Marais. We had a heat index
reading of 106º yesterday in Eden Prairie...and that's why
this place looks so good right now.

Nice technique
The way that shapes and colors mix together but without missing the final image.

Thanks again ~ you certainly have found a lot
to admire in my paintings. Most artists on dA do
NOT think too much of my digital or photo manips.
But I'm glad I do them. They simply wait for my
next painting. I can't figure it out. I'm just happy
to be alive and to be able to create!!

I don't know how others think. In general I don't admire so much digital or photo manips. Don't take it personal =)

Oh, I don't, and you're certainly not alone.
I seem to gravitate to TRADITIONAL ART. I can
move around more ~ I'm not glued in front of a
computer, arranging multiple layers in Photoshop.
YUK!

Nice chatting

Tradinional Art is ART. The photomanips are just copies of tired minds. There so few people that are gifted in Digital ART and most of them are painters first of all. First they learn how to paint, to use and mix colors and then they jumb at the easiest part, the digital one.
I don't know if I gave you my point. My dictionary in English is not appropriate for this kind of analysis. I could talk hours about that but only in my native language I can support my point of view much more complete =)
Have a nice day :sun:

I do NOT want to respond negatively to
your comments ~ I do agree in part with you,
but I could not ~personally and categorically ~
reject en masse all examples of certain types
of art. I know, for example, that there are
truly some pretty amazing digital artists on
this site ~ many of them youngsters. How do
they learn to compose paintings so well? But
I truly enjoy the traditional media much more.
And wish I could find more of it on dA!!!

I agree with you =)
I gave you the general idea of what I think. I'm not good at being expressed in English :D
Nice talking with you Argiro.
