I never did get my picture framer to cut a precise mat for this old w/c. But I know it did sell in that more lucrative epoch of the '90s. It was a small painting, copied from a postcard. Today, I no longer do that, and of course, the paintings don't sell within a month either. Whatever. Trish, if you know the village, let me know. OK? Watercolor, and only watercolor. rcg
As I was saying: It's a Letting Go, Zen process. THANKS for your comment...I will go with 'Magician.' I've been called worse, that's for sure. Have a great day! dick g
Well, as I was saying, I'm always trying to reinvent the rectangle. I'm sure it was sold in a frame, BUT did not make my framer to cut around all those corners. I'm sure she could do it. Just don't remember back that far. THANKS again! dick g
Beautiful!.....and definitely one of ours Dick!!.....It's a Norman towered church....which we have alot of!....I could say I've been here I've crossed so many of these bridges...and always fed the ducks etc.It could be one of the Swan reserves....but it could be in Wales ,Norfolk,Suffolk, and even higher up the country!I will look on utube and might find it!!!Looking just like this!........Leave it with me!!!!
I knew this one would hit a nerve, or at least: get your attention. All I can say is that, my friend Denny from Barnesly Yorkshire, would always bring or send me postcards, which when painted, would be welcomed in my gallery of the mid-90s...and they would sell within the month. One might note the highest degree of my disgust with The Rectangle. It doesn't get any weirder than this! THANKS...I'd welcome knowing where this is...and I know: YOU'RE ON IT! dick
