This earlier WATERCOLOR was completed in 1994.
Clearly, I'm already interested in the textural
possibilities of watercolor...and breaking out
of the infernal rectangle. Painted from a personal
photo, added the two boys in the foreground.

I love the non rectangle....and the addition of the figures....They create a sort of story element instead of it just being a landscape!!.....
