Oh...This is really a beautiful fantasy....The rocks are looming over watching the tiny ships...Gosh it's so atmospheric......It must make me feel like that because I've always thought how way out beautiful the fiords are!!!

Yeah, Chee's really amazing. His wife assists
him in his workshops - her name is Sing Bee - by
bringing him fresh water...and she always walks
behind him! Chinese, thru and thru....

This is beautiful, Dick...really quite magical and lovely.
And thank you for the link...beautiful work as well. (I have bookmarked it). I can see a bit of Chee's influence shining through in this image.

I guess when one takes ONLY ONE workshop in one's painting life,
we take much from that seminar!!! It was a week long, and each day
focused on each of Chee's principal techniques, which are conveniently
divided on his super website. It was memorable. He has resided in my
hometown, Duluth, for years -was the head librarian at UMD. Born in
China however. Thanks for you comments, Evette...too kind!
